My Incredible Sense of Timing

I really like my new job. In fact, that's why I took it -- I liked the company and the company's PR goals. I've been with said company for 9 days now, and we just announced that we're being acquired. Yep. 9 days. This combined with the timing of me trying to sell my home right as the housing market crashes and burns leads me to believe that my sense of timing is less than incredible.

I don't know if I'll get laid off. Probably not, but for argument's sake, let's say I do. That leaves me with a mortgage, a Cambridge rent, and no money to pay for either. Woo hoo!
